Developing leaders
Skills strengthened through KMUN
At Kipling School, we believe that education should extend beyond the classroom. Experiences such as the Kipling Model of the United Nations (KMUN) give our students the opportunity to explore the world, understand it and, above all, discover how they can contribute to shaping it.
Through this immersive experience, our students take on the role of diplomats, tackling real global challenges and collaborating with others to find meaningful solutions. In the process, they develop key skills that prepare them to create their own future with confidence and purpose.

A global mindset
KMUN invites students to see the world from new perspectives. By representing different countries, they research cultural, political and social contexts, developing a deep understanding of global challenges.
This approach fosters an international mindset—one of the pillars at Kipling—where students learn to think beyond their own borders and become global citizens.
Communication
The ability to communicate ideas clearly and convincingly is essential in any field. During KMUN, our students develop public speaking and effective communication skills, learning to express themselves with confidence, listen actively and adapt their message to different audiences.
These competencies not only strengthen their academic performance, but also enable them to have a positive influence on those around them.
Collaboration and empathy
In an environment where dialogue is key, students discover the value of working together. KMUN promotes collaboration, negotiation and empathy—essential skills in an interconnected world.
Through the exchange of ideas and the building of consensus, students learn that the best solutions emerge from respect and cooperation.
Leadership
At Kipling, leadership is understood as the ability to create a positive impact. During KMUN, students make decisions, defend their positions and actively participate in solving complex problems.
This process strengthens their confidence, initiative and sense of responsibility, preparing them to lead with integrity in any context they choose.
Academic preparation for the future
Academic rigour is also an essential part of the experience. From research to drafting proposals, students develop skills that enhance their academic success and prepare them for the challenges of higher education.
They learn to analyse information, build strong arguments and present ideas clearly—key competencies for lifelong learning.
Confidence to create their future
Beyond technical skills, KMUN has a profound impact on each student’s personal development. By facing new challenges and stepping outside their comfort zone, they strengthen their resilience and self-confidence.
Each experience brings them closer to discovering who they are and who they want to become.
A transformative experience
KMUN is much more than a simulation: it is a platform where students develop the skills, mindset and values needed to thrive in a constantly changing world.
